JOHANNESBURG, 21 FEB Р13 people believed to be rhino poachers were arrested by South Africa’s Anti-Poaching unit. The arrest is the result of continued effort by the government to combat rhino poaching in the country. According to the data released by the Department of Environmental Affairs, a total of 102 rhinos have been killed since January 1st. Kruger National Park had the highest number of rhino poaching incidents with of 70 rhinos killed, next is North West with 11 rhinos and followed by KwaZulu-Natal, 10, Limpopo, 7 and respectively Mpumalanga with 4.
