SAO PAULO, 16 APR –One person died in Sao Paulo, during the construction of the stadium for the World Cup in Brazil. During work on the Arena Palestra, which will host the team of Palmeiras, part of the stands collapsed, burying a worker while three others who were in the area managed to escape. According to the fire brigade who were investigating, three support columns collapsed. Sao Paulo will not participate in the Confederations Cup in June, but only to the World Cup next year.
